Management of thoracic cancer is an increasingly complex landscape to understand and negotiate. The recent studies on perioperative targeted and immunotherapies on resectable lung cancers, the increasing evidence for sublobar resections in select patients, development of advance next generation robotic surgical systems as well as the rapid rise of endobronchial therapy options have provided better outcomes and more tailored therapies for patients with thoracic malignancies.
It again gives me great pleasure to invite you to the Asia Thoracic Cancer Care Summit (ATCCS), Hong Kong in 2025. The theme of the meeting is "Breaking Boundaries towards Personalized Therapies", which is reflected in the topics with their diverse approach to pre-treatment planning as well as tailored approach to diagnosis and treatment across different specialties. Of note, tumour localization and surgical planning, advance uniportal VATS, robotic surgery utilizing different robotic platforms and approaches, non-invasive endobronchial cancer therapies, and more novel concepts of AI are some of the exciting areas that will be explored during this meeting. The leading institutes in the world from US, Europe and throughout Asia on thoracic cancer management have again lent their generous support this year in creating this truly inspiring program. Through lectures, discussions and dry lab workshops, we hope to bring you the most updated information and latest trends, to allow you to experience the technology, share with you our research and innovative ideas, and inspire you with a glimpse of future techniques and technologies.
We warmly welcome you to this vibrant city to celebrate with our renowned faculty recent progress and future developments, to start new and rekindle old friendships, and to be part of innovating more personalized therapies for the benefit of your patients with thoracic malignancies.
